If a 73 yr. old dude can shoot hoops with the young guys, I say GO FOR IT!!!! I wish him nothing but the best. I kmow folks younger than 73 that have a hard time going to the pot. It is fantastic to see a dude at 73 shoot for his dreams. I am proud for him.

I tought you couldn't be over 25 years old to play college sports. Isn't there an age limitation? Perhaps it is only for Division I schools. Anyone have insight?

THIS is the best story I have read in weeks!!! God bless this "young" man. I hope he plays and I hope he scores! It will be as good for the young people watching him as it will be for this man's youthful pride. certainly a lesson for all of us - when does living your life really end? At least for Ken, it isn't at 73.

God help the young man on the other team that takes a cheap shot at him!

I play hoops at the health club all time and there is a Mink style player down there as well. Basketball is a team sport and every good team must have their role/Mink players. God Bless him!

I am a 46 year old mother of 4. My last child is 2 years old. Her next oldest sibling is 19. I still play competitive volleyball 3 nights a week against 20 somethings. (I have been playing the sport for 34 years) I have had 3 surgeries on the same knee in the last 6 years. All I hear from people is...Aren't you too old to be doing that? My doctor says I am like a 30 year old. This is not to brag...it is to tell people no I am not too old and neither are you! Get up and get moving at any age and don't stop!!!

I think this is amazing. As a college athlete myself I am highly inspired by this old man. It is hard enough to stay healthy as you get older, but to make it through a college practice has to be even better. Seasons are long in college sports and it will be a challenge for him to make it through the entire year. If he makes it, it should be a lesson to all the quiters. They bailed while an old man prevailed. I definitely will keep up with him this year and wish him the best of luck.
