The last can't miss player that rock college basketball was Chris Jackson of LSU or to those who love him Mahmound Abdul Rauf. His freshmen year he averaged over 35 per game and have a 52 point performance against Florida wher he fouled out the entire backcourt that included Vernon "Mad Max" Maxwell. He along with Jay Edwards of Indiana were first team All America. Jay was Big Ten player of the year leading UI to the conference Championship by personally winning five games by hitting the winning shot as time expired.

Two small note regarding Curry. One, if you exclude the game against Loyola when Stephen only attempted 3 shots, he's averaging 36.5ppg. Second, you actually can watch Davidson home games (at Belk Arena) online. There is a per game fee, or you can purchase a month at a time (I think they're about $6 and $11 respectively). While free would be better, what's a little dough when you need a fix?

The Fab Five of Michigan were the last for me. It was so exciting to watch them, Maize uniforms, black socks and shoes and the dunks, man the dunks were just outrageous. Yes it is sad how their college careers ended, tho you can never forget the two years they were together, 1991-1993. I still have my Webber jersey, 16 years after buying it.

I think that Curry is great. I go to Liberty University where is younger brother plays and he is doing a phenonminal job at Liberty. Even as a freshmen he has high scoring in games and still has a lot more potentional and he and his brother both have great looking futures!

The best part about Stephen is he's a down to earth guy. He'll never get a big head, I know this for a fact.Funny how everyone is surprised at how good he is. I've always known. I remember watching my cousin play in the AAU Nationals and I knew Steph was going far. Mad love for the other Curry, Seth at Liberty.

Best analogy might be David Robinson at Navy. He could take over a game, was a great story, and seemed to be a great guy. Not to mention you had to be lucky to catch their games on TV.

For me, Iverson was a must see his last year at G-town. Curry is exceptional, but he does what you expect a player of his size and stature to do. He takes and makes a lot of big-time jump-shots (Albeit with greater frequency and efficiency than almost any others who have played his position).
A.I.'s game was incredible because of how different it was. He was a lightning quick, six-foot nothing, point guard who could get by any defender and take on all comers. I think he even dunked on the almost seven foot Marcus Camby in college--who at the time was the college basketball player of the year.

Don't get me wrong. Curry is special, even phenomenal, but A.I. did things on the court that, had I never seen him play, I wouldn’t have imagined someone of his size was capable of doing.

How about Glenn Robinson at Purdue - he was a remarkable college player from day 1 and carried an otherwise mediocre team (until running into Grant Hill in the NCAA's his junior year).

I love Curry, but lets not get carried away. There have been lots of people who scored a lot of points. I am exhausted with people claiming that who ever is currently the top player in a sport must be the greatest of all time. Remember the Kobe V Jordan debate last year. You don't hear it since Kobe got swept out of the finals.

You guys should be paying attention to Creighton and Booker Woodfox. Booker went 7 for 9 from three point land on the road at St. Joe's and then followed that up by going 5 of 8 from three point land at home against previously unbeaten and 26th ranked Dayton. Booker's doing that in less than 20 minutes per game. He's putting up ridiculous numbers in much less time on the court, and if he was playing Curry's minutes and taking as many shots as Curry does he'd be averaging far more points and eye-popping shots per game than Curry.

Curry is to cool for me. Mouthpiece act really annoying to look at. Play hard and forget about trying to look ultra cool.
