I'm sure that Jodie is greatful for this especially after last year's injury(ies).
Of course now the young guns will be after him on every single 'touch', so I look for some Al McGuire "junk" defenses soon. That should bode well for the other kids, who even last night looked better than at any time previously this year.
The 'condor dunk' by Patterson as they called it on espn, after the defense frantically pursued Jodie on an inbounds play, was a foreshadowing of things to come.
Though a UK fan for 50 yers, I would say that Eric is right about this, imagine a Dookie or UNC player getting 50 points...the player would end up on 60 Minutes!!!

Just think what it would be like if he was shooting from the shorter trey line. Jodie is the real deal. He can shoot over you or go around you and pull up or go around you and slash. That's impossible to stop. The junk defenses have been tried already. Meeks can't be stopped.

I got nervous around the 6 minute mark, and turned the radio off. (I don't have ESPN). I couldn't stand it, so I turned it back on. MEEKS had just scored 9 straight points ! LOL
