LOL @ UConn not being in the top 25. Clueless. There returning what is arguably going to be the best 1-2-3 in the college basketball in Walker, Dyson and Robinson. And bringing in McD's All-American Alex Oriakhi at center, and a top 50 player in Ater Majok at PF, they're a top 10 team for sure.

You don't do your homework and you don't know anything about Texas Basketball. First of all, if Texas enrolls Jacovin Brown who just last week stated that he is now eligible for June enrollment will be the best guard in the country period! Noboby will beat UT with Jacovin trust me! This is based on if he buys into Rick's Barnes system. They are loaded.

Jacovin is a one and done guy. Also you obviously don't know about Ray Penn who's going to OK State. You'll throw rocks at Byron Eaton when you see Ray Penn. Ray Penn should be a Pro in Ford's system. He can flat out shoot and score with speed. Last year in Las Vegas at the Reebok tournament he scored 37, 19, 43, 44. No player has ever done that! Don't forget about Tommy Mason-Griffin going to OU. He's extremely good also. He gave John Wall 28 at the Peach Jam in front of everybody and beat him.

If you want to get a preview, Kentucky Derby Festival this weekend, and Reebok All-Star game in D.C. in two weeks.

West Virginia is not top 5 material if Ebanks leaves. Mazzulla isn't half as good as Ruoff and they'll be leaning heavily on D'sean Butler and Ebanks. They were barely top 25 this year with the senior leadership of Ruoff.

UConn is also easily top 25. You make it sound like they're losing 3 starters + Thabeet. They're essentially getting back 3 starters in Walker (better than Austrie), Dyson (the original starter), and Robinson. Add to that Oriakhi, Coombs, Majok, Edwards and you have a pretty solid core.

This has absolutely no credibility whatsoever. They don't even know who Louisville loses... It's ANDRE' McGee not Jerry Smith who will be a Senior. Returning Jerry Smith, Edgar Sosa, Preston Knowles, Samardo Samuels, Terrence Jennings and Jared Swopshire and George Goode. All are more experienced and with another year under Pitino's program they will be stronger and have more understanding of what Pitino wants. Louisville is also adding Peyton Siva -a McDonalds AA Point Guard... something they were maligned for all year this year. Get a clue whoever wrote this garbage.

Siena can't buy anyone's respect, despite beating Ohio State (your #12) in the NCAAs and then almost beating Louisville. They played Pitt, Kansas, Tennessee and OK State in non-conference games this past year, and were close in each, and went almost undefeated in their conference games. They lose only one starter to graduation this year. I know they're just a tiny mid-major, but has anyone even heard of them?

I am so glad everyone is jumping on the Kentucky bandwagon I don't know what to do. All I know is Calipari better win it within 3 years or UK fans will be running him out of town as well. As for Louisville they will probably be good by the end of the season,don't have alot of expections. They will probably be better than people think.

Loved the comments here...a voice from Washington says Washington is the best, from Illinois comes the fall down funny idea that the Illini are championship material, homer after homer. UNLV should be #1? Colorado in the Final Four? (Don't worry, I get that that one was sarcasm) Nobody will beat Texas? (should have been a joke, but somehow I have doubts)
There are a few on the list that are highly questionable (only 3 Big 12 teams in top 20 is laughable, where on EARTH is Oklahoma??)
The point about non-major conferences is a good one, Xavier belongs on the list, the consistantly over-rated Gonzaga does not.
