I think memphis will be all over UT like the proverbial "spider monkey". CDR anf the rest of the Tigers will still be #1 on Sunday and still be undefeated. The best thing is that both teams are from Tennessee and they will probably get to see each other again in San Antonio at the dance.

Both teams are having the seasons of their lives. They both should be proud to have the opportunity to represent the State of Tennessee. Both of the coaches are two of the best coaches in the game today. It is bad that one of these teams has to lose. I give the nod to Memphis, because it is a home game for them. When you are a great team such as the Tigers, it is hard to go into someones house and come out with a W. A win is a win and it may come down to one point.

I'm a Vol all the way, but I don't think we can take them this year. Last year we got them early when they had a freshman point gaurd and their big got got a foul and a tech in the first two minutes. They had no other bigs because their back up was suspended for the game. Memphis is much more expierienced and battle tested. I just feel they won't lose this one at home. Should be a good game and shouldn't hurt either teams post season status. Go Vols!!!!

Calipari is a arrogant pompass coach and is overrated in every aspect! Can't wait to see those Bolivar boys play. Wayne Chism from Tennessee and Willie Kemp from Memphis were teammates on Bolivar Central's back-2-back State Championship runs a couple years ago. Kemp was heavily recruited to go to TN, but opted for Memphis. This should be a fast paced game with lots of lead changes. Either way, recruiting in the state of TN should get a boost!

Ahhhh memories of the UNLV-Arkansas 1991 tilt where true All-Time College Great Larry Johnson would "fake" his free throw shot to screw with the Razorbacks, before laughing and then dropping a nice 25 - 19 in the second half. I would have liked to see Danny Manning try to do that.

This is the fifth time 1 vs. 2 has happened for in-state teams. The other four were: Ohio State vs. Cincinnati (Buckeyes won in '61 and '62) and Duke vs. North Carolina (Heels won in '94 and '98).
