How can you possibly not speak about the Wisconsin Badgers! Not a lot of glitz but they just always seem to get the job done. They have looked simply awesome in their wins over Cal Fullerton and Kansas St. By the way not many of the so called experts gave them much of a chance against K-State and Mr. Beasley! Talk about Michigan St? The Badgers won the Big Ten and the Big Ten Tournament taking care of the Spartans. The Badgers will be there in the elite 8 against Kansas and don't count them out for the final four. Best coach in the Country and a "blus collar", "Lunch pail" group of guys that don't get rattled and just always seem to get the job done! It's time they get some respect from media such as yourself. How you don't even mention them in your article is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it’s quite obvious. Wisconsin has had a wonderful season, but unfortunately they will not win another game. They are about to run into a powerful Louisville team that is not just a good “team”, like Wisconsin, but they also have “real” talent which your Wisconsin team lacks tremendously.

Failing to talk about the Badgers is a perfect example of why they have had such a sensational season ... the national media don't like workmanlike teams, so they ignore them. The same thing applies to other teams ... they think Wisconsin is nothing but a bunch of big slow guys. I think Michael Flowers, Trevon Hughes and Jason Bohannon are more than ready to take issue with that!

Pretty amazing that you go out of your way to name just about every Sweet 16 team but the Badgers. Don't you think this article would look foolish if the Badgers advance to the Final Four? Come on! 4 losses on the season and MSU gets 2 or 3 mentions? Badger fans are right in complaining that the team gets no respect from teh national media.

I agree, not even mentioning a 31-4 (5th best record of remaining teams) is just outrageous. But, it's not surprising if you look back on MSNBC's Big Ten articles. Half of them focus on Sampson and Indiana, with no headlines of Big Ten conference and tournament champions Wisconsin. Just keep on ignoring them. They'll beat Davidson Friday and be in the elite 8. Then maybe, just maybe, MSNBC will think of them as deserving a singular mention in an article.

Big 10 ACC challenge is such a joke!!!! The ACC wins it every year, because they often have better raw athletes, but the coaching and the game is so much better on the Big 10 that at the end of the year, the Big 10 stands stronger...

Overlooking Bo Ryan's Badgers and focusing on Michigan State is fine with me as I am an alumni of MSU but I know Wisconsin has the best balanced team and coach in the Big Ten and will be in the final four! They make ir look soooo easy!

Just a couple of final follow up comments...

Mike, Tennessee has just as much of a right to complain too! Wow! Your comeback is that you left out a 4 loss Tennessee team too??? I wish I could get paid for dishing out the swill you are feeding us. It's not fair to say that it was "about all 16 teams as a whole" and then proceed to name 90% of them. You should take a hint from the FOX tagline... "fair and balanced".

And as for Joe in Seattle... If 4 losses does not make a good team, then why aren't your Huskies in the Tournament?
