A chill still goes through me thinking of those great teams. Had a desperation shot by Kentucky not fell in OT they would have made the championship game in 1955. (Kentucky won the title that year) Guy Rodgers, Hal Lear and Tom Gola (LaSalle) were the greatest college players I ever saw. My late father, a DDS, loved the owls. He graduated from Temple in 1926.</description></item></channel></rss>
